Striping
DANBRU provides a value added service called striping. This service, available for extruded wire, is capable of applying up to 3 stripes as the wire passes through a spinning striper head and then baked on in a dryer tower. This identification process is essential to manufacturing since most specifications restrict color coating to ten standard colors. The striping process can allow for more that just ten wire colors to be indentified and we offer exceptional durability with dozens of vibrant color combinations to fit your application. DANBRU's striping machines can add either three spiral or two horizontal stripes, and to date, have striped over 30 million feet - that's enough to stripe the Empire State Building over 24,000 times!

Dyeing
The process of dyeing a wire or cable for identification is much like striping, except the entire jacket of the wire or cable is covered in a new color. In order to dye the wire, one of DANBRU's specialty machines pulls the wire from a payoff, through a dye reservoir with a system of pulleys, and finally through a rubber wiper and onto an waiting reel or spool.
